Part I Architectural Assistant
Laura joined Hollaway Studio in July 2025 after graduating from Cardiff University’s Welsh School of Architecture (BSc). During her final year, she explored the livability of Indian cities and, to deepen her understanding of how climate and culture shape architecture, spent time at Sangath Studio in Ahmedabad. There, she worked on projects including the redevelopment of the BHU Campus and a new block for Shiv Nadar School.
Her final design project examined how biodiversity can support urban wellbeing, proposing a public exhibition space with integrated research facilities to connect the city to the ocean. The scheme incorporated a recirculating water system for passive water quality tracking and facility use.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys travel, film, and oil painting.
