Reuben joined the Hythe Practice in August 2021 after he graduated from his MArch at the University of Kent, Canterbury. For his final year project he designed a Mental Health Centre in Ashford, Kent. Through this project he developed an interest in the dynamics between the public space and social behaviour, with a particular interest in mental health and architecture.
Reuben assists Matt Whitby’s team in Studio 1 as a Part II Architectural Assistant, where he has been involved in a range of residential developments of varying scales.
Outside of work Reuben enjoys playing a range of racket sports in his spare time. However, when it comes to table tennis – the gloves come off. He has successfully introduced ‘office pong’ into every work establishment he has been at thus far, providing much appreciated lunch time entertainment.
