Interior Designer
Sara joined the Practice in 2012, after graduating from the University of Kent with a first-class honours in Interior Design. Her love of textures, layering and materials married with a sensitive approach to each project ensures the Practices’ interiors respond to client, context and architecture alike.
At Hollaway Sara has experience in coordinating and delivering interior schemes from concept design through to construction stages, working on a wide range of varied projects from small scale one off high end bespoke developments such as Pobble House to large scale SEN technical delivery for Kent Special Needs Programme (£40m/3 projects). Her more recently completed projects include The Cottage, Palamon Court and the interior fit-out for Chapel Down’s ‘Curious Brewery’ in Ashford.
When not living in the studios, Sara can be found moonlighting as a part time taxi driver to her inspiring teenage daughter who she loves nearly as much as coffee and peanut butter. Together they are passionate about clean living and The Green Movement. Sara is an enthusiastic runner and loves hitting the wooded trail and partaking in the odd marathon or ten!
