Part II Architectural Assistant MNAL
Originally from Norway, Thea completed both her BA and MArch at the University of Kent, where she developed a design philosophy rooted in sustainability, regeneration, and narrative driven placemaking. Her Scandinavian heritage and her year practice in Norway, inspires a deep respect for nature and a desire to create harmony between architecture, landscape and master planning, crafting spaces that reflect environmental responsibility while celebrating the stories embedded in each site.
Her academic work has been recognised with several awards, including the RIBA West Kent Branch Student Prize, the SAA MArch Design Portfolio Prize, the Head of School Prize for outstanding citizenship, and the Outstanding Student Award. She was also nominated for the prestigious RIBA Silver Medal Award.
Outside the studio, Thea enjoys skiing, drawing, reading, music, dance and staying active through sports.
